The factors that drive the price
- The type of fault: electrical, hydraulic, mechanical or structural. A fuse is nothing like a cylinder or a control board.
- The part involved: hydraulic cylinder, hose, electronics, buttons, rollers, joints… prices vary widely.
- The brand and model: availability and price of genuine parts differ by manufacturer.
- On site or in the workshop, and how urgent (night, weekend) the call is.
Repair or replace?
On a recent, well-maintained tail lift, repair is almost always the most economical solution. On a very old, multi-fault or corroded lift, a new installation may be more sensible long term. We give you a frank opinion case by case.
